Serve at the Convention.

The Annual Convention is carried by people who give their time: ushers at the doors, voices in the choir, hands at the food canopies. There is a place for you. Choose a team and the Convention Committee will be in touch.

Where you can serve

Every team needs willing hearts more than experience. If you're not sure, pick a few and the Convention Committee will help you find the right fit.

  • Ushers

Welcome people into each session, help them find a seat and keep the hall calm and orderly.

Usher protocols. Ushers work to a shared set of protocols for how the team welcomes, seats and serves people, so that all things are done decently and in order (1 Cor. 14:40). The Convention Committee will be in touch after you sign up.

  • Protocol

Receive ministers and guests and help sessions run in good order.

  • Care Team

Look out for attendees who need a hand, a listening ear or someone to pray with.

  • Hospitality

Help serve food and refreshments and make every guest feel at home on the grounds.

  • Food & Welfare

Help prepare and serve meals and look after the practical needs of guests, ministers and volunteers.

  • Sanctuary Keepers

Keep the sanctuary clean, set up and ready for every session, and tidy it afterwards.

  • Choir

Lead worship with the convention choir.

  • Registration Desk

Greet arrivals, check people in and answer first questions at the desk.

  • Media & Tech

Help with sound, cameras, the livestream, photography and screens.

  • Social Media

Share the convention online with photos, short videos and posts, and help us reply to people who reach out.

  • Children's Ministry Helpers

Support the children's ministry team with activities and care for the youngest attendees.

  • Security & Parking

Help people park safely and keep the grounds secure.

  • Medical Team

For nurses, doctors and other health professionals willing to help look after attendees.

  • Prayer Team

Cover the sessions in prayer and pray with people who ask.
