A summary of the Chairman’s Address printed in the Golden Jubilee brochure.
Pastor Oluwagbemiga Famojuro, D.Min, Chairman of the Convention & Conference Committee (Latunde Region, USA), addressed the President, the General Superintendent, the General Evangelist and the Regional Superintendent. He gave thanks for fifty years since the apostolic faith was planted in the Americas, framing the jubilee around God’s faithfulness and answered prayer (Psalm 107:1; 1 Samuel 7:12, “Ebenezer”).
He remembered the late Pastor Dr. Abraham Adegoke Oyedeji, who planted the church in the Americas, and other pioneers who have passed on: Pastors A.A. Adeojo, J.O. Adeyanju, A.S. Shasanmi, Ogunjeminiyi and J.T.F. Brown. He also noted that the church began in Nigeria in 1918.
The address thanks the committee and everyone who attended, and ends with a prayer for the next fifty years (Psalm 126:3; Deuteronomy 31:8).
