From the July 2025 Hope for All newsletter, in pieces written by Pastor A.K. Bamidele, Acting Superintendent in Brazil.
2023: a first visit. Pastor S.A. Oyeleke (Rtd.) made a first missionary visit to Brazil from 4 to 23 April 2023 and celebrated Easter at CAC São Paulo on 9 April. He also visited the CAC assembly in Rio de Janeiro, which he had learned of through the secretariat in Nigeria. He returned to São Paulo in September 2023, which began a reformation and realignment of the CAC churches in Brazil.
November 2023: “Arise São Paulo!” A power-packed revival program brought Pastor Ayeni back to Brazil from London after eight years away. In August 2024 four ministers from Nigeria, two pastors and two evangelists, joined the work, through the coordinated efforts of CAC Agbala Idande (Akilings Region), CAC Way to Life Ottawa and CAC 1930 Miracle Explosions, Bronx, New York.
January 2024: joining Latunde Region. The authority of the church wrote to say that Brazil was now an integral part of Latunde Region. The Regional Superintendent, Pastor T.A.O. Agbeja, Ph.D., called to pray with them and promised a visit, which he made in November 2024.
12–18 November 2024: regional visit. Pastor Agbeja and the Regional Secretary, Pastor J.O. Olawale, were welcomed for a revival tagged “And there’s great joy in the city” (Acts 8:8). From 13 to 16 November the team visited Rio de Janeiro, where Pastor Luciano is minister in charge, and held a joint ministers’ meeting. The ministers were urged to work as a team in unity for the rapid growth of the church in Brazil.
